Unto Adam also and to his wife did the LORD God make coats of skins, and clothed them. For the life of the flesh is in the blood, and without shedding of blood there is no forgiveness … but it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, who washed us from our sins in His own blood. He was pierced for our transgressions, crushed for our iniquities; the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
Remember Jesus Christ, who raised from the dead, descended from David, Abraham and Adam, and who is now seated at God’s right hand in the heavenly realms.
